Rashed Alpha says:

I loved this video, Mitch. I hope you make more of this, so calming, beautiful places to explore throughout.

Also, i noticed the quality of the video is very high, I mean resolution wise .. did you shoot it in 4k using the EOS R ?
(Cause that 4k crop is too much I believe to be used for vloging with a 20mm)

I’ve seen other youtubers shoot in 1080p using EOS R and upload it as 4k which gives it more details due to different Youtube compressions for the two different Res.
I could always tell, but yours .. I couldn’t .. It looks amazing!

Maybe its the 20mm that is very sharp compared to the 15-35/16-35mm.

I hope you could enlighten me as I am planning on getting the EOS R myself.

Cheers mate.

Nice view of Kyoto

The new law forbids to shoot and post maiko without permission. Careful there, hentai is a serious crime in Japan) I personally prefer Arashiyama on a first train in the morning, when there are just photographers. And Fushimi Inari closer to the evening. Especially at the top you have more chances to meet monkeys than people.

Awesome look at Kyoto! Such an amazing city to photograph. The photo series at 4:10 is wonderful. I just love the colors and subject. Great work, thanks so much for sharing, I miss Kyoto!

when you film yourself ithink it would be better if you dont't use that wide aperture because of that autofocus sound
