My Berlin travel guide includes 28 secrets, things to do and best places to visit which I carefully selected for this Christmas adventure in Germany. You won’t believe number #23 which is a must-see attraction.

The first thing you have to remember about Berlin is that it has 2 main city centers in West and East Berlin, primarily the cause of the aftermath of World War 2. I took my family to Berlin – Germany for Christmas to visit its amazing Christmas markets and local events.

Berlin is definitely a gem of city but it has its flaws, it could have been the time of the year, Christmas shopping, new year’s stress, we basically had a very bad experience with the local service, primarily at restaurants, they seemed to not give a damn about hospitality. Service was overall very sloppy, unpolite and slow. However we did notice major improvements on the westend of Berlin.

For more information on how to find the Das Klo, Ritter Sport Cafe, Tresor, Berghain and Christmas markets, go to my blog: http://www.reformatt.com/berlin

My favourite place so far has been Sage Club. It was really odd and a cool place to hang out with many rooms so you can drastically change up the atmosphere, for people like me who get sick of clubs after half an hour it's perfect, you just go to a different room. Going back to Berlin this year right after Christmas so I was looking for new places. Das klo looks amazing, thanks for the tip. 🙂

Nude beaches still ARE absolutly normal in Germany. Espacially older people enjoy them. They are a symbol of ultimate freedom, non judgment and equality for them. However if you visit them with questionable intentions or a certain mindset you will not only be disappointed, but also not be welcomed. I personally don't go to nude beaches cause I'm just too uncomfortable, but i get why they go. Nice video though.

Regarding the East Side Gallery: the 'western side' of the wall, before it fell, was actually about 1+ meter in the Eastern Zone, so that the entire wall could be maintained without entering the 'western zone'….thus, the grafitti artists who decorated the western side of the wall, pre 3 Okt., 1990, were actually doing so from the 'eastern zone'.

Just a little trivia for consideration.
